30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We’re confident you’ll love your new home. But if you don’t, just notify us within 30 days of move-in, and you can break your lease. We’ll be sad to see you go, but we understand that sometimes plans change.

  • What are the additional fees on top of monthly rent?

    We strive to make our pricing as transparent as possible, and each additional fee will be clearly stated in your rental agreement. 


    Additional fees include: 


    Parking: we offer three parking options for an additional fee monthly. Garage parking: $150, Preferred parking: $25, and Premium parking: $45.


    Pet Fee: $400 (non-refundable) for first pet and second pet $550 (non-refundable).

    Pet: if applicable, $25 pet rent per month

  • What do I need to qualify for an apartment?

    We're thrilled to hear you want to apply! Each resident must meet certain criteria, including rental, credit, and criminal history checks, as well as employment and income verifications. After you have finished your application, you will receive a confirmation email with preliminary approval. In order to make your approval final, the office team will need a copy of each occupant's photo identification and pay stubs or W-2's to confirm income requirements. If you want to review the full requirements prior to applying, please contact the leasing office for a full breakdown.
  • I've been approved, what's next?

    Congratulations and thank you for choosing The Preserve at Ballantyne Commons as your new home! Once approved, you will receive a Welcome Home letter from our team with a checklist to complete before moving in.

    Action items include:

    1. Electronically signing your lease
    2. Setting up your resident portal account
    3. Paying move-in fees and deposits
    4. Sending our team confirmation of your utilities accounts and renters insurance
    5. Setting up your move-in appointment

    We will stay in contact with you through this process and are available to answer any questions that you may have to make your move-in as smooth and easy as possible.
  • My move-in date is coming up, what's the move-in process?

    Welcome Home to The Preserve at Ballantyne Commons!

    Before your move-in date, we will ensure that all required action items have been completed as outlined in the Welcome Home letter. Afterward, we will set up a move-in appointment. On your move-in date, we will provide you with a move-in packet containing all the need-to-know information. Additionally, we will hand over your keys so you can start moving in!
  • As a resident, where will I park? What about my guests?

    Thanks for your question! Parking is available for residents and guests on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • As a resident, how will I receive packages?

    We're happy to share that we have a Luxer One Room with 24/7 access! All packages will be delivered and stored in this room. Each resident will need a unique code to enter the package center and retrieve their items.

  • What school district is The Preserve at Ballantyne Commons in?

    Students at our community attend Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools. Depending on their grade level, students will go to Hawk Ridge Elementary, Jay M. Robinson Middle School, or Ardrey Kell Ballantyne Ridge High School.
