Found just 30 minutes from our downtown Houston apartments at the Marquis Downtown Houston Lofts, the Space Center is a perfect day-long outing for those truly curious souls enthralled by the wonders of the cosmos and our tireless efforts to reach out to them.
Houston’s Museum District rivals the likes of New York City for its multitude of arts and culture offerings. The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Houston Museum of Natural Science, the Contemporary Arts Museum, and the Station Museum of Contemporary Art are just a few of the more notable destinations. In the same vicinity is the legendary Houston Zoo, offering 55-acres and 900 species of nature’s boundless wonders. The Museum District can’t really be covered in just one visit, and the rotating exhibits keep these destinations an enduring destination for Houston residents looking to feed their hearts and minds on the wonders of art and nature alike. Located just 20 miles from our apartments in West Houston at Marquis on Memorial, they are not to be missed!
If you’re looking for a night out on the town, the Theatre District boasts some of the city’s best restaurants and bars, as well as the Revention Music Center. The Theatre District also has the country’s second most populous concentration of performing arts theatres in the United States. And while our Marquis on Park Row apartments near Katy Mills Mall offer top-tier shopping right at your doorstep, there’s never too many entertainment and shopping options with Bayou Place nearby, offering a combination of mall, entertainment complex, and massive dining center all wrapped into one.
Music lovers already know what Houston has to offer in terms of live and contemporary music venues. The city is known for its musical history and unique personality. Whether it’s at mainstage powerhouses like the House of Blues and Warehouse Live, or the intimate and laid-back town secrets like Rudyard’s and The Nightingale Room, one of your favorite artists, or undiscovered future favorite, is sure to be playing somewhere in the city.
