30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We’re confident you’ll love your new home. But if you don’t, just notify us within 30 days of move-in, and you can break your lease. We’ll be sad to see you go, but we understand that sometimes plans change.

  • What are the additional fees on top of monthly rent?

    We strive to make our pricing as transparent as possible, and each additional fee will be clearly stated in your rental agreement.

    Additional fees include:
    - Administrative Processing Fee: $4.25
    - Valet Trash: $26.25
    - Water and Sewer: Based on usage and billed in addition to your monthly rent
    - Electric: Based on usage. Residents must create an account with Seattle City Light.
    - Parking: If applicable, $125
    - Pet: If applicable, $30 per pet
    - Storage: If applicable, $90

  • What do I need to qualify for an apartment?

    We're thrilled to hear you want to apply!

    Each resident must meet certain criteria, including:

    - Rental, credit, and criminal history checks
    - Employment and income verifications

    After you have finished your application, you will receive a confirmation email with preliminary approval.

    In order to make your approval final, the office team will need:

    - A copy of each occupant's photo identification
    - Pay stubs or W2's to confirm income requirements

  • I've been approved, what's next?

    Congratulations and thank you for choosing Marq West Seattle as your new home! Once approved, our team will call you to talk through what to expect, and we will send a Welcome Home letter with a checklist to complete before moving in.

    Action items include:
    - Electronically signing your lease
    - Setting up your resident portal account
    - Paying move-in fees and deposits
    - Sending our team confirmation of your utilities accounts and renters insurance
    - Setting up your move-in appointment.

    We will stay in contact with you throughout this process and are available to answer any questions that you may have to make your move-in as smooth and easy as possible.

  • My move-in date is coming up, what's the move-in process?

    Welcome Home to Marq West Seattle!

    Before your move-in date, we will ensure all required action items have been completed as outlined in the Welcome Home letter. We will then reserve the elevator for your use. Most small moving trucks will have room inside our upper garage with easy access to the lobby and elevators. Larger trucks may need to park outside of the garage along Avalon Way.

    On your move-in day, you may call us through the call box or enter from the upper garage (we will leave it open) to access the leasing office. We will have your keys and welcome folder ready to pass to you through our glass panels or on the small table just outside of the office.

    We're currently requiring that everyone wear a mask and maintain social distancing within our community, so please be prepared to do so and make sure to inform any movers or friends you may have helping you that day.

  • As a resident, where will I park? What about my guests?

    Thanks for your question! Parking is first-come, first-serve for both guests and residents, and all vehicles must be registered to park on-site. Residents can reserve parking anytime; garage spots are $125 per month. Please contact our team by phone or email to register a vehicle.

  • As a resident, how will I receive packages?

    We're happy to share that we have a Luxer Package Locker System with 24/7 access! All packages will be delivered and stored in this designated room. Each resident will need a unique code to enter the package center and retrieve their items.

    If the lockers are full or if your package is oversized, the leasing office will contact you to inform you that you have a package waiting for you in the lobby. If you anticipate a large delivery such as furniture, please let us know in advance so that we can grant the carrier access to the elevator, allowing them to deliver directly to your door.

  • What school district is Marq West Seattle in?

    Students at our community attend Seattle Public Schools. Depending on their grade level, students will go to Fairmount Park Elementary, Madison Middle, or West Seattle High School.
