We're thrilled to hear you want to apply! Each resident must meet certain criteria including rental, credit and criminal history checks, and employment and income verifications. After you have finished your application, you will receive a confirmation email with preliminary approval. In order to make your approval final, the office team will need a copy of each occupants' photo identification and pay stubs or W2’s to confirm income requirements. If you want to review the full requirements prior to applying, please contact the leasing office for a full breakdown.
Congratulations and thank you for choosing Marq West Seattle as your new home! Once approved, our team will call you to talk through what to expect and we will send a "Welcome Home" letter with a checklist to complete before moving in. Action items include electronically signing your lease, setting up your resident portal account, paying move-in fees and deposits, sending our team confirmation of your utilities accounts and renters insurance, and setting up your move-in appointment.
We will stay in contact with you through this process and are available to answer any questions that you may have to make your move in as smooth and easy as possible.
Welcome Home to Marq West Seattle! Before your move-in date, we will ensure all required action items have been completed as outlined in the "Welcome Home" letter. We will then reserve the elevator for your use. Most small moving trucks will have room inside our upper garage with easy access to the lobby and elevators. Larger trucks may need to park outside of the garage along Avalon Way.
On your move in day, you may call us through the call box or enter from the upper garage (we will leave it open) to access the leasing office. We will have your keys and welcome folder ready to pass to you through our glass panels, or on the small table just outside of the office. We're currently requiring that everyone wear a mask and maintain social distancing within our community, so please be prepared to do so and make sure to inform any movers or friends you may have helping you that day.
Thanks for your question! Parking is first-come, first-serve for both guests and residents, and all vehicles must be registered to park on-site. Residents can reserve parking anytime; carports are $30 per month and garages are $75 per month. Please contact our team by phone or email to register a vehicle.
We're happy to share we have a Luxer Package Locker System with 24/7 access! All packages will be delivered and stored in this room, and each resident will need a unique code to enter the package center to retrieve their items.
If the lockers are full or your package is oversized, the leasing office will contact you to let you know you have a package in the lobby. Please let us know in advance if you anticipate a large delivery such as furniture, so we may let the carrier have access to the elevator to deliver to your door.
Students at our community attend Seattle Public Schools. Depending on their grade level, students will go to Fairmount Park Elementary, Madison Middle, or West Seattle High School.
