We strive to make our pricing as transparent as possible, and each additional fee will be clearly stated in your rental agreement. Additional fees include:

-Administrative Processing Fee: $4
-Valet Trash: $25
-Amenity Fee: $5
-Pest Control: $2
-Boiler Management Fee: $13.75
-Water: Based on usage and billed in addition to your monthly rent
-Electric: Based on usage and residents will need to create a utilities account with Austin Energy
-Pet: If applicable, $20 per pet
-Reserved Parking Space: $50

We’re thrilled to hear you want to apply! Each resident must meet certain criteria including rental, credit and criminal history checks, and employment and income verifications. After you have finished your application, you will receive a confirmation email with preliminary approval. In order to make your approval final, the office team will need a copy of each occupants’ photo identification and pay stubs or W2s to confirm income requirements. If you want to review the full requirements prior to applying, please contact the leasing office for a full breakdown. 

Congratulations and thank you for choosing Marq Uptown as your new home! Once approved, you will receive a “Welcome Home” letter from our team with a checklist to complete before moving in. Action items include electronically signing your lease, setting up your resident portal account, paying move-in fees and deposits, sending our team confirmation of your utilities accounts and renters insurance, and setting up your move-in appointment.

We will stay in contact with you through this process and are available to answer any questions that you may have to make your move in as smooth and easy as possible.

Welcome Home to Marq Uptown! Before your move-in date, we will ensure all required action items have been completed as outlined in the “Welcome Home” letter, we will then set up a move-in appointment. On your move-in date, we will give you a move-in packet with need-to-know information, hand over your keys, and you can begin moving in!

Thanks for your question! Residents with a studio or one bedroom apartment will receive one parking permit, and residents with a two bedroom apartment will receive two parking permits to park in the parking garage behind the security gate on a first-come, first serve basis. Residents may also lease a reserved parking space for $50 per month. Guests may park on the first floor of the parking garage outside the gate, or on the street.

We’re happy to share we have a Luxer Package Room with 24/7 access! FedEx, UPS and Amazon packages will be delivered and stored in this room, and each resident will need a unique code to enter the package room to retrieve their items. USPS packages will be delivered to your mailbox. If the package is too large to fit in your mailbox, the postal carrier will leave a slip so you can retrieve it at the Post Office located at 2700 Speedway.

Students at our community attend Austin ISD schools. Depending on their grade level, students will go to Lee Elementary, Kealing Middle or McCallum High School.
