South Charlotte Pet Friendly Apartments

The Marquis of Carmel Commons welcomes you and your furry friend! Our community is conveniently located near many pet friendly locations in South Charlotte. The McAlpine Creek Greenway trail is great for hikes with your pet and is only 4 minutes away on Johnston Rd! Our sister community features a fenced-in dog park, that you and your pet can use. Looking for even more space for your dog to exert some energy or meet a new friend? Take a walk down to the Davie Dog Park located at William R. Davie District Park, 4635 Pineville-Matthews Road. This park is within close proximity and features a 5-acre fenced-in, off-leash area for dogs. The park offers two separated fenced-in areas: one for dogs over 20 lbs. and another for less than 20 lbs. After a trip to the dog park, stop into the clubhouse for a well-deserved treat! We are also to several pet stores including PetSmart, as well as fantastic groomers, and veterinarians!

The Marquis of Carmel Commons encourages cleaning up after pets, which is why we provide numerous pet stations throughout the community. Tidy Dog also visits at least once a week to help with maintenance. Also, several of our very own residents offer pet-sitting and/or dog walking services. We have no weight limits, but there are a few breed restrictions. So if your pet determines where you live, there is no better place than right here at The Marquis!
